I was very sorry to learn about Diane's passing. We lived on the same block on 42nd Street in Des Moines in the early 1960's and our kids played together occasionally. When my first wife and I got divorced and she unexpectedly moved out of state, Diane came over and helped me organize a garage sale to dispose of some of our kids' clothing and miscellaneous household items. To say Diane was a big help was an understatement! In later years, I always looked forward to attending one of her gigantic garage sales on 42nd Street. She was quite the organizer, so I'm sure she must have really enjoyed running her antique shop in Missouri. I also remember her love of Elvis memorabilia and her beloved Corvette! To Diane's daughters, I hope that God gives each of you the strength to work through this most difficult time. Your mother was a special lady, and you should be very proud of her!
