Corinne Weber, 81, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at Iles Funeral Homes-Brandt Chapel in Dallas Center, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Harper Cemetery in Redfield.
Corinne was born in Redfield and lived in Dallas Center most of her adult life. She was a bookkeeper/receptionist for 23 years at Brenton State Bank in Dallas Center, retiring in 1994. Corinne enjoyed painting, crocheting and making people smile.
Corinne is survived by her children, Kent (Cindy) Weber of Rockton, IL, Colleen (Don) Bauman of Grimes and Vicki L. Fountas of Adel, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sisters, Ada (Lowell) DePue of Texas and Helen (Norman) Givler of Des Moines, sister-in-law, Darlene Coleman of Redfield and her close friends, Betty Stump and Alice Froemming, both of Dallas Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bernice Coleman, her husband, Ray and her brother, Bud Coleman.
The family would like to thank the staff at Spurgeon Manor for their care and compassion given to Corinne and the family.
