Bryan Ray Johnson, 53, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at his home in West Des Moines. In agreement with Bryan's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service honoring Bryan's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, at The Bridge Campus of Meredith Drive Reformed Church, located at 10025 N.W. 62nd Avenue, in Johnston. Private committal services will take place at a later date.
Bryan Johnson was born June 30, 1957 in Fergus Falls, MN, to Rev. Ray and Bonnie Johnson. He was a 1976 graduate of Hoover High School, where Bryan played football. He attended UNI and Chef School in Eden Prairie, MN and spent most of his career as a realtor.
He is survived by siblings Sandy (Dave) Rydberg of Pequot Lakes, MN, Larry (Dee) Johnson of Burnsville, MN, Bonnie Rae (Alfredo) Ferreyra of Des Moines and Beth Johnson of Des Moines. Bryan was preceeded in death by his parents and sister, Burnetta.
